Everybody's free to wear sunscreen
What advice would you give the children of today? In 1997, Chicago Tribune columnist Mary Schmich asked herself that question. So, she wrote a hypothetical commencement speech called, "Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young." Snarky title. But her advice is priceless. And in 1999 it was set to music and was an instant hit. It became the commencement anthem for pretty much every school in the country.
