Gulf oil spill from space
The ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico makes headlines every day. It's one of the worst history. Some estimates have it totaling more than 100 million gallons of oil. That number is just too big to really understand. You need to look at it from a different perspective. Shortly after the spill, NASA began taking photos of the Gulf from space. These images are illuminating and troubling.
