Card trick that fools other magicians
Most stage magic employs sleight of hand and misdirection. Any good magician can fool a regular audience. It takes a great magician, however, to fool the experts. Watch this magician try to fool professional magic-exposing duo Penn and Teller.

I don't think so Mister880. A magnet would make the ball lopsided, and it would wobble when thrown.
The trick is not in the cards, the nine of diamonds wording was always on the cards. Just look at what you DON'T see, not what you see in the video! What you do not see and you should be seeing, is lots of hands reaching up to catch the ball when it nears a certain area! A normal reaction would be anyone close to where the ball is falling raises their arms to catch it. Also, when the ball is thrown to Penn, it takes a NATURAL curve up and down. BUT, when he throws it, it starts off natural then quickly dips down, there is some kind of magnet BOTH on the ball and the one that has been preselected to catch it! When it reaches that person, it immediately curves down to each one of the three. No one else raises their hands to catch it around them, the ONLY one that raises his or her arms are the ones that were preselected and that have magnets attached to them so that the ball goes straight to them.
