Car runs on air
How do you run a car without gasoline? Well, there's electricity, biofuel or hydrogen. All have their strengths and weaknesses. But a new alternative fuel—air— is throwing it's hat into the ring. Guy Negre is a French researcher working a new kind of car. It will be powered by compressed air. It can supposedly reach highway speeds. And it can travel 200 miles on a single tank of compressed air. It's an interesting idea. And it's attracting investors. India's Tata Motors says it will produce an air-powered car soon.
